The Laboratory for AI-Powered Financial Technologies Limited (AIFT) is a Hong Kong registered limited company providing transformative analytics solutions for the financial services industry across the Asia-Pacific region established in March 2020, and admitted to InnoHK Research Clusters in December 2021.

AIFT provides transformative analytics solutions for the financial services industry across the Asia-Pacific region. We are strategically positioned in two leading international financial centers, New York and Hong Kong, and informed by the scholarship of two preeminent academic institutions, Columbia University and City University of Hong Kong.  We are committed to conducting pioneering research, attracting the brightest talents, realizing visionary concepts, and providing the best business solutions for future financial services.

Our R&D combines artificial intelligence, big data and blockchain technology with modern financial tools. AIFT works in the areas of micro-lending, production and supply chain financing, capital markets, banking, and regulatory technology.  We extract commercial and business value from large volumes of direct and indirect data, combine federated machine learning architecture to balance model optimization and data ownership/ privacy, and promote credit and risk management decision-making with enhanced intelligent financial functions. Our work will help to efficiently complete loan approval, customer withdrawals, as well as loan monitoring and default management.
