AIFT Visited Changan Inkasso Headquarters in Xi’an

Laboratory for AI-Powered Financial Technologies (AIFT) visited the headquarters of Changan Inkasso in Xi’an on 15-16 Jan 2025 for an exchange. Prof. Houmin Yan, Director of AIFT, shared insights on “Research, Commercialization Plans and Recent Achievements of Laboratory for AI-Powered Financial Technologies”. During the seminar, Prof. Yan focused on three main areas: the application of structured risk control models in cross-border e-commerce customer risk management, the current state and future impact of Web3, and the fundamental principles and applications of Large Language Models (LLM) in the e-commerce operational domain. Prof. Yan delivered a comprehensive and engaging presentation, combining theory with practical examples. The seminar encompassed international academic research, changes in financial regulatory management rules, and market trends, providing valuable insights to the participants. Prof. Yan discussed and exchanged ideas with attendees regarding the research outcomes and products’ application in Changan Inkasso’s “scenario-based” products, addressing numerous questions in detail.

Changan Inkasso and AIFT are strategic partners, with prior in-depth collaboration in the cross-border e-commerce field. AIFT successfully provided risk assessment reports to Changan Inkasso’s e-commerce clients for Hong Kong financial institutions. Moving forward, both parties continue to enhance collaboration across various “scenario-based” business areas, enhancing the intelligence of various products to advance digital accounts receivable services towards “digital intelligence”.
