The Web Conference 2024

Prof. Irwin King and Ms. Zhihan Guo attended the Web Conference held from 13 to 17 May 2024, at Resorts World Convention Centre in Sentosa, Singapore. Ms. Zhihan Guo gave a presentation about a published paper titled “FedHLT: Efficient Federated Low-Rank Adaption with Hierarchical Language Tree for Multilingual Modeling” during the conference. Additionally, they engaged in meaningful discussions and exchange ideas with fellow professionals in Federated Learning field.

The Web Conference (formerly WWW Conference) is a yearly international conference on the topic of the future directions of the World Wide Web. The Conference aims to provide the world with a premier forum for discussion and debate about the evolution of the Web, the standardization of its associated technologies, and the impact of those technologies on society and culture. The conference brought together researchers, developers, users and commercial ventures, all those who are passionate about the Web and what it has to offer.
