Visit by Zhejiang Entrepreneurs from Zhejiang University School of Economics

50 Zhejiang entrepreneurs from the Zhejiang University School of Economics visited AIFT for exploration and exchange on 26 Oct 2024.

The visit commenced with Mr. Victor Liu, Head of Commercialization at AIFT, introducing the research projects of the laboratory. He delved into the intricacies of the Global E-commerce Cross-border Value Chain Financial SaaS Platform and the operation of the AI-driven Digital Unsecured Credit Loan project, which effectively addresses the financial needs and security concerns of cross-border e-commerce companies. Mr. Liu also outlined the latest policies and regulations of the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited regarding IPO listings for mainland enterprises, mergers and acquisitions, and backdoor listings.

Following his presentation, Dr. Xiezhong Chen, Senior Researcher at AIFT, presented an overview of financial innovations in Hong Kong’s real estate sector. Dr. Chen not only explained government policy measures but also analysed key aspects of real estate investment in Hong Kong.

Finally, Mr. Linghui Luo, Chairman of the Investment and Financing Committee of the Zhejiang University School of Economics, on behalf of the Zhejiang entrepreneurs, extended gratitude with a letter of thanks and commemorative gift to the laboratory. During the post-meeting discussions, the Zhejiang entrepreneurs expressed profound interest in commercial cooperation with AIFT on projects such as “AI-driven Digital Unsecured Credit Loan project” and engaged in in-depth discussions.
